Want to make a shimmery village church for your Christmas card?

Using basic watercolor pencils and coloring techniques, you can whip this card out so quickly!

I started with the church stamp and some little accessories….but after it made me really want to play with the whole village!

Let’s take a look:

When I first started stamping – just over thirty YEARS ago – I had very few supplies.  Actually, there were not many supplies to be had!

My first love was watercolor pencils (and a paint brush, since blender pens were not available yet).

They are still what I reach for when I want a basic colored image. Not a lot of time, not a lot of money in supplies and a simple colored (yet watercolored!) look.

I colored the church, fence and trees on regular vanilla cardstock.

The Falling Snowflakes were stamped on some of my homemade shimmer paper.
