We have made it to the week that always feels like the end of the year to me! So many things will happen between today and Sunday… (I am skipping this past weekend, because other than go pick out our Christmas tree – the entire rest of the time was spent deep cleaning the house and making Club packets!) Thanksgiving, Decorating, my birthday and Karisa’s second bridal shower. By the time we go to bed on Sunday night – our house will be transformed from all those fall colors to a festive wonderland.
Here is our 2023 Christmas tree! I wanted one with a fun and different shape…and this one was perfect.
Now…..in the midst of all we have to do, raise your hand if you are like me and STILL have Christmas cards to make?!
If so, don’t worry. Today I take one design and show you how to make a quick, easy, but still FABULOUS card. Run out of supplies? That’s ok to! Most of us have lots of fun substitutions!
I created this card as one that I can whip out quickly. Before I even had time to film the tutorial…the paper is gone and now sold out.
BUT, you can still recreate it! Let’s see how:
Here is the original. If you have the Shining Brightly and Oh Holy Night papers, then use those. I kept the design for this subtle.
Card Club members, you will see several past months of products here – in this one you already have the Joy of Christmas paper AND the gems!
Here I changed the paper to the Earthen Elegance and Gold Foil.
Here is the Fresh as a Daisy paper with the All About Autumn ribbon!
If you have much paper at all, look through your stash (have fun in the video when you see the “other side” of the 2 designs!) but I bet you could get the stamps and dies today and be well on your way to some fun cards.
Have a happy Thanksgiving Week!
