Stamping 101

I have been Stamping for over 25 years! There is so much to the craft – but in it’s simplest form – all it takes is a Stamp, some Paper and Some Ink!

If you have never stamped before – or only just a little – here are some starter videos that you might find helpful.

Here is a quick video that is just 2 stamps, 4 colors of ink, 2 colors of cardstock and then at the end a little bit of “Wink of Stella” (a whole lotta sparkle in a little pen!)

Same balloon stamps here – and adding a few more fun things – a punch, some ‘pop up’ dimensionals and some washi tape!

This time – let’s use some stamp, inks, punches and instead of using the ink pads to just stamp with – I use a ‘blender pen’ which transforms the ink into a simple color medium! You also see one of Stampin’ Up!’s most popular items – our Big Shot create a textured background.

For this Christmas card instead of the Ink Pad, I use the ink Refills that you can get to reink those pads up. It’s just a different way to get the same look as the card above. So many coloring techniques! And…Paper…. This time there is no ordinary paper! There is shimmer paper, glimmer paper and even some acetate paper! All combine to create a Christmas card that will bring a smile to those who are lucky enough to receive it!

Need an adorable baby card? This time the only color of ink is black – and the super easy color medium is Watercolor pencils! You add a bit of color to your paper and then a tiny bit of water – and it’s magic. You look like an artist!
