Today’s card is a fun new kind of stamp ‘set’ found in the new catalog. It’s designed to be able to use all 6 floral images individually or put them back together to form a background stamp!
You can see it in the tutorial here for the tri fold beauty!
This set immediately had my attention because Proteas are my very most favorite flower. When we lived in Australia it was an inexpensive present to myself to walk past the florist shop there and pop in and buy one. I kept my live one in a vase and my ever growing collection of ‘dried’ ones strung from a string (hey it was the early 90s and dried flowers were all the rage!)
Even on our last trip back just taking photos of them made me happy! If I wasn’t in “make as many cards as possible in as little time possible” I would have googled the images to find the perfect color combination for this card. Since that’s NOT my life at the moment – I started the colors for these from the paper. This card is especially designed for those of you in Card Club – it uses the Charming Floral paper and ribbon that we used in August and the Branching Out dies that are going to be part of Sept and October Card Club! Once you have products I love how easily they can all mix and match!
This card I used the stamp set with each of the floral images individually. I wanted to have plenty of coordinating images for all my panels
Again, with more time the middle panel could have been a background use for the stamp and would work perfectly if you would rather use it that way!
If you would like to add on the Branching Out bundle, there is time to still join Club this month…or subscribe after the 10th and get it for October Club.
You can find out all the details for my online card club at the link on the top of this page.
I hope you give this stamp set a try – it’s always great to have something new to play with!
