One of my very favorite things about Designer Series Paper
is the versatility that it gives you in your crafting!
On the previous Playful Ghosts tutorial I created my own customized background pieces for the card.
Today I used 2 very unexpected papers when you first look for my Halloween project.
Often the ‘other side’ of our papers are colored textured look patterns. So the flip sides of Christmas, Spring, Fall and in this case floral papers….
can be used if it’s the color you choose to go with your design.
Here I paired the Perennial Lavender paper with the Christmas vellums for my Playful Ghosts card.
Not the first papers you may think of when your crafting takes the autumn turn – but they work very well. It also helps use some of your DSP that isn’t the favorite sheet of the pack!
Here are the 3 cards I made with the Playful Ghosts set. A simple stand alone set, perfect if you just have a few Halloween projects to make! The top one was designed by my daughter, she will get a tutorial up for it soon! Check her out on Cards by Ris.
You have til August 10th to join my online monthly Card Club! Be watching for the sneak peek of the first project soon.
