My first glance through the new May 2026 Catalog the Valley in Bloom suite jumped out and I knew it would be the first focus of Card Club. The colors, the flowers, that paper….it’s just a fabulous beautiful grouping of products.
Let’s take a look at the first project for May Club.
I made a fun pocket card to be able to show off more of that paper. The insert card allows both sides of the paper to be used. It is also an ‘edge’ design 12×12 so cutting it this way meant none of it going to waste!
What’s your favorite part of this suite? I love coloring in the lilies – and that new white gel pen is a DREAM to achieve this with.
Here they are on the Basic Beige…but check out the stunning results on the Coastal Cabana paper.
I was happy to use this sheet of paper for the insert card. As I mentioned it is an edge design, so some of the middle portion doesn’t have the flowers on it. But that was ok with me…. since I wanted to also use the gingham. That little extra piece was just the right size for the pocket front.
Here is a closer look at the smaller insert cards.
Here are the pockets.

Those of you who have signed up for my Try It Class or any of you who happen to be fan of fun folds…. I also shared today the BEST ruler you can get. If you HATE counting the 1/8ths and 1/16ths measurements….this one is so very well marked. I show it in this super quick video. Here is the link to get your own.
I hope you find this helps as much as I do. The older you get and the less your eyes see of the little markings, I find this really helps.
