Today we continue on with easy summer cards – although this one is stepped up just a bit!
Back in the 80’s I was melting wax and making seals all over the place. Well, that trend is making a come back and today we add a fun faux seal to our card with embossing powder.
Don’t worry – it’s still very quick, since we start with printed cards and envelopes!
Let’s take a look!
First, aren’t these cards and envelopes adorable? I have set aside my favorite one for another card….maybe in July when I grab some stand alone sets for some super simple stamping!
For these I needed 2 that would work well with the color combination I wanted to use.
Remember, even though I didn’t use the circle dies included in the Spotlight on Nature bundle, it IS part of the sale going on in June. They will be back in stock soon.
The leaves are simply stamped in olive and then quickly brushed over with Lemon Lime twist and stella.
I added a little background splashes of Olive and gold.
Do you prefer the Daffodil or Olive card? Good news is the card packet includes an array of colors, so you don’t really have to choose!
