Chalkboard Technique with Stampin’ Up! Hobby Haven

Today we are going to look at another suite that will be available.  So much fun to create cards that are especially tailored to the one you are giving it to.

Take a look at all the options of papers in the tutorial for this project!

For this card I chose the ‘all things fabric’ paper (sewing, needlepoint, crochet, etc) – but you can take the same design and change it to any of the other themed papers to match what goes best with the one you are making the card for.

For the tag I heat embossed it.  Then to add some extra dash of color I used the fine tip of the Stampin’ Write marker to color in the letter centers.

Don’t forget the Markers have been moved to the Last Chance list.  Most all of them are discounted and once gone, they will not be coming back.  There are some techniques (such as coloring on your stamps AND coloring in embossed images) that will not work with Blends.  If this is a look you like, make sure to get all the colors you need before they are gone forever.

This suite would be great for anytime you are giving a gift card, you can theme the gift to match wherever the gift card is too.  Invites to get togethers that go along with the themes will be so easy!
