Ready for your first project for May Card Club?

Here you go!  This Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper is so much fun to work with.  It made this card so super simple.

I added a few touches that brought the paper to life – making it feel like a 70s vintage painting.  Let’s see how to do it here:

The obvious choice to add that watercolor feel is to run the paper through the Painted Texture folder.  The folder is currently available and will carry over into the new catalog.

It gives that wiped on thicker painted look.

I hand pressed the texture part of the daisy into the die cut for the texture there.

I wanted to have as much of the DSP show as possible while still adding one of the fun sentiments from the set.  So the label die is cut from window sheet.

In any other month you would have til the 10th of the month to sign up for my subscription online card club (and make any changes and add your optional stamp set/bundle).  However, this month it will be in mail by the 10th of May, so all changes, joins, pauses, additions will need to be made by MAY 1.

I will have someone staying at the house with my cats and watching them, but all mailings will go out before the 10th.
