Isn’t this Christmas Rose LOVELY? It is the subject of today’s tutorial AND the featured set of one of next month’s two free online classes!

Which do I like more? The stamps? The dies? That ribbon? Those embellishments? There is a bracelet too – I realized later I forgot to show that to you!
The tutorial packs a bunch of techniques into it. I wanted to use the Blends to color in the beautiful images (hey, that’s my demonstrator group name!), but did you know, it’s not good for your Blends (or any alcohol based marker) to be used with embossing? So it was a mix of a bit of no line ‘watercolor’ and then with the help of the Stamparatus putting the image back in to stamp again so I could emboss over the whole image once it was colored!
The results are definitely worth it! The added bonus is the color really is under your embossing, not pooling up next to it.
The Designer Series Paper is 12×12 – so I used the NEW paper trimmer to cut my 4×6 sheet into 3 2″ pieces. That way I was able to take advantage of both sides and not waste any. Want a FREE trimmer? Keep reading on how to get one!
