This is my second card – third technique – with the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper is simply stunning. And Free with purchase through the end of March (or while supplies last should it run out before then).
When coloring this background piece I tried several colors and started with Blends. It was taking longer than I wanted – so I switched to one of my favorite coloring methods – my refills IN my Aqua Painters. I use them so often in so many different ways, so happy to find one more use for them! In the video I explain the process of figuring out the hows/colors to get to the end results
This is the piece I colored on film – literally just seconds of swashing on color.
Let me tell you how incredibly hard it was to get a GOOD picture of these cards. With the light hitting the foils and the background paper, it was nearly impossible! It is most certainly a card that is prettier in real life.

I love these and find myself reaching for them all the time. They are a great year round selection of colors. I thought so in the Fall and at Christmas and Winter – but Spring is here now and I find myself reaching for them still!!
