Today I have a fun fold tutorial for you! This pinwheel fold is easy with the use of the Paper Trimmer….and you will see some of the fun reasons you will want to make one!
If you want to try this same fold (but in a completely different end result – join my online Peach Class – as it is one of our projects!)
If you can create a card that uses nearly ALL of the stamps that come in a set – that is a win in my book! On this card I used all but the “reach for the stars” stamp that is included in the Stellar Birthday set.
These fun cards give you the ability to have “pages” to your card, so you can even tell a story. Bonus that they fold back to standard card size to fit inside an envelope!
One tweak I would make if I created this design again is to do my base in Balmy Blue. It would have helped hide the edges of my BEAUTY OF THE EARTH Designer Series Paper.
In July this is one of our Sale papers! I love that having that double side gives you so many options in using them. This paper is a gorgeous nature theme – love all those fall leaves – assortment.
But flip it over and you have Outer Space!

what a great card and easy. your are right, if the mechanics are complicated I admire from afar!
The only thing I did differently was to attach the stamped, colored DSP to the bases before adhering them to the box. This idea came just in time for me to create one for my grandson’s 5th birthday
