Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Yes?!!!
This card is a whole lotta THAT!
The set is a fun “technically” Christmas set – but one that you will be able to use all year round for lots of other occasions!
I am busy making little bows to go on all the free mini trimmers I am starting to send out this week! They are perfect little tags.
Today’s card is obviously influenced by my high school and early 80’s years….although much like they didn’t wear a poodle skirt to school every day in the 50’s – we did NOT wear neon leotards and slouch socks to class then either (sorry to disappoint). At least where I went to school we were much more “preppy” and into boat shoes and sweaters tied around our neck. But, we did enjoy our Friday night get togethers crowded around a (small) tv to watch this “new” thing called Mtv. Which…was all videos.
And Cyndi Lauper…and girls having fun.
This card will bring a smile to any gals face in my age range (if she is turning 50 – or you are celebrating a post Covid get together with your 1985 fellow grads….), but just as easily to any much younger one turning 8! We all love some bright color, sparkle and gems!
In the tutorial I did show you the difference (for those of you who have asked) between the new Magenta Blends and the recently retired Lipstick Blends – here you can see for yourselves that the Magenta is a much more 80’s pink!
