Today I have another of our December Camp projects for you.  It incorporates several items from the 2018 Holiday Catalog….AND it pulls in my favorite Stamps and Dies from last year – the Hometown Greeting Dies and the Hearts Come Home Stamp sets.

I would say that 95% of the time I sit down and create and use a ‘blank slate’ (not sure if that’s a good term to call what’s in my head, lol).  But being so busy and so pressed for time….this camp I will be using some “inspired by” projects!  But – that’s ok!  I hope that you are all inspired by my projects and feel free to use them as they are OR as a jumping off point to your own work!

Here is the sample from the catalog that I was inspired by.  I used the basic set up of the card – but let’s take a quick look at what I changed to make it my own!

I used the Gold Foil envelopes (love them – and bonus I only then needed white cardstock and they are so elegant + envelopes, lol).  I added the star moon from the Making Christmas Bright (which was inspired by…me, lol – from one of my favorite cards we did last year with the Hearts Come Home stamps.  I have added that video to the end of this current one on YouTube, pretty sure it is a fast one, so take 3 minutes to watch it!).  I used a light touch of blends.  I also chose a different way to use the shimmer paints (and I have 3 of the colors on the one card!) Because it’s Christmas – it needs to shine!  Stay tuned for 2 more “inspired by” projects to come!
