Merry Christmas…in July!
Today’s project is all about the meaning of Christmas…and one that if you enjoy watercoloring you can start now to actually ENJOY making and not be the cause of additional stress by waiting til the Holiday is too close and it’s one more thing to do! (I know, we have ALL been there!)
I don’t fast forward through the coloring techniques with this – so if you need a bit of help on the HOW to watercolor, this should be helpful.
If you need practice with your watercolor – the by all means, get this set – take a few weeks out by the pool – watching the kids out playing in the yard – however you spend the rest of your summer – and get the feel and the technique down!
The fun thing about this set is that it has both the lined art images for detail and then the cut out for the ‘wash’ – so you can do both with the one set.
The new fine tipped Water Painter is a must for it, as the images are so tiny. You get such good water control. The Aqua Painter of the past is just too fat a tip for it.

These are so beautful – I need to make about 90 cards – how much of the paper, ribbon and gems will I need?

Hi Janice!
Let me get a chance and I will measure it for you!
Cheri says
Hi Janice! You will need 45 sheets of Vanilla – the card base is that – so each sheet will give you 2. You will also need 45 sheets of Shimmer White – each card needs a quarter for the background and 1/4 for stamping and die cutting. You would need 2 spools of ribbon!
