Ok…first IT IS STILL SUMMER. Here in my Studio – I just placed by Holiday Catalog preorder – which means I will have Christmas stamps here tomorrow. In Indiana – school started this week. BUT August IS SUMMER, right? (Well, in the Northern hemisphere, lol). So – I may have some snippets of Holiday Preview to come – but August Camp will be all summery – and today’s project is another in the series of Embossing Folders!
This project uses the Seasonal Wreath and the Brick and Mortar Folder – both are new. And rather awesome!
The tutorial will give you every thing you need to know on how to make this fun card!
Even tying the bow, which I know some of you find challenging. I love the Tulle Ribbon (it’s my fave!)
If you do Home Decor or Samplers – this could be a GREAT square in one of those!
It’s painted in with nothing more than ink pads and shimmer paint. (here it comes….) It looks much better in person!
The Wreath is called SEASONAL…so be prepared…you may see this card again – in variations of Fall, Christmas and Spring! Super simple to change up with a switch of colors. BUT – you know AUGUST and SUMMER – this one is all green, baby!
The supplies to make the card can be found below. We won’t be making this one at camp. It is not a hard card -but the combination of fussy cutting AND the painting make it a tad longer time wise than I like for a camp project. For those of us who love to get lost in the coloring – it is perfect for antistress and relaxation.
