Second card tutorial now – from our upcoming catalog! Make sure you are on the list to get a copy. If not, keep reading to the end of this post. You will find the details there on how to get one.
I asked on my Live yesterday what set people wanted me to start with and this one got a few votes – so let’s go!
I used the Flowers for Every Season suite. It does contain a second stamp and die set – but I just used this one –
Jars of Flowers and the Jar Punch
The little gems are super cute and will stand in as water for you in your shaker.
The suite includes a 3 pack of ribbon. The white is a very sheer twill and who doesn’t love a gingham?
The cards are part of the Memories and More line – and all in the new In Colors.
The card from the tutorial is on Misty Moonlight
We can’t order the new In Color Blends yet (they will be ON my order as soon as they are available!) but we certainly have may other colors that work fine til then.
I used the twine to tie around the jar lid.
and the Shaker Domes fit perfectly into the punch hole for a super easy shaker.
This was NOT the first card I did. My first attempt I was not overly pleased with – for several different reasons.
I was creating with a migraine for one, so it all felt a little off.
I tore it apart to rework it, so it can no longer be shaken…but you can see the version with the ribbon, because that part was cute! You hear about the fiasco in the video. I apologize for my ‘words’ in this tutorial, my migraine meds make it hard to concentrate. I am feeling much better this afternoon, but this morning when I taped I was still in the medicine fog. Ugh.
