So – it’s it time for an online workshop. The next several posts have been designed especially for them! We are over on Facebook – interacting, getting prizes and learning some new crafting techniques. The good news is – while they are all enjoying the workshop – all of you can take a little peek in and watch the portions that will appear here on my website!
Bonus? This workshop is a fundraiser for a friend of mine! So, not only will her friends all be stamping – but they will be contributing toward a great cause.
If you would be interested in a fundraiser or an online workshop – just message me!
Now – let’s stamp!
This workshop demonstration will start with an EASY card and one that also doesn’t need too many supplies. The stamp set covers birthdays, get togethers and things you may want to congratulate! When all 4 cards are done – you will notice I have not used over half of the stamps in the set – so there are so many more possibilities!
The picture above shows all of the supplies I used. Several of the items are basic and you may already have them. I used the Tuxedo Black pad – my go to black pad in 95% of my black ink usage. Whisper White cardstock and the Stampin Scrub and Mist. If you are just starting out – you may not want to spend your first purchase dollars on cleaner. That is fine, you can use water and a paper towel to clean them off too. But as you build your supply stash, make sure to put this on your list. As you will see in the video when you want to use the same stamp repeatedly on a card and want to swap colors the Stampin Scrub and Mist will just make your craft time easier.
This card is as simple as they come. I chose three coordinating colors. Stamp. Clean off in between colors. Add a touch of glitter with the fabulous Wink of Stella brush. Layer on some matching colors and adhere to a card base. Done!
Switch colors and omit glitter and it can be a guy card. Switch it to a graduation card with the congratulation stamp and stamping the balloons in school colors! The set is photopolymer, so it will require blocks for mounting. The stamp set has some balloon highlights and outlines. You can step it up by adding the same color highlights to the balloon. Or – stamp the balloon outlines in black and color them in with the stamp pad and blender pens. The possibilities are endless!
Those of you in the workshop. Once you have watched the video – head back to our Faceboon party page and comment on the post. Questions if you have them – or just let me know that you watched! Remember – every comment could earn you a prize!
