Ornate Garden Tutorial – How to Change Your Card Elements & Online Class Signups

Today I have the second card featuring the Ornate Garden suite!

Here’s your tutorial (and if you missed yesterday’s – go back a post to watch that one, there I show you all the other pieces!)

I had quickly thrown together the first card and while I ‘liked’ it there were some elements I thought I could play around with to see if I liked better.

There is an up close of the two cards together.

Here is my original.  In person the daisy on shimmer isn’t as white, so it doesn’t quite match the DSP.

The DSP is ran through the folder but it gets lost a bit.

On the change up I ran the card base through the folder.

Stamped on white and layered with the Terra Cotta.  If I had all the time in the world (how I am so crazy busy??!) I would do one more and this time emboss the terra cotta instead of the other two.

I think it would be hard to do an ugly version though – this card screams happiness – I am SURE you know some people who could use some Happy in the mail these days!

I have several ways for you to enjoy this suite of products with me this month!

To complete the projects you will need: black waterproof pad and inks in these colors (marker or pad)  Terra Cotta, Mint, Espresso and Mango.  If you do not have these exact colors – the ‘next’ in line color will work too (Suede for Espresso, Pear for Olive, Coral for Terra Cotta).  If you have something to color with blender pen, blends, aquapainter – for these that will be useful too!
