There are not many things that say “summer is here” like a day at the diamonds, right?!
Saturday I got to see my nephew play.
Here he is running to 3rd base. Love to see all the different levels of ‘commitment’ in this age group!
I used all 3 of the card bases in this month’s kit to create 3 alternate projects. And who loved the bubble gum surprise?!
First the obvious choice is to make an actual uniform with the uniform print.
This is easy to do with the Handsomely Suited dies.
Next a more generic Star card with the Tidings & Trimmings Dies! This bundle is my next online class…Christmas in July – or just stars in July…..
I created a very simple faux ‘pop up’ card with the die. The card goes from baseball to a fun circus feel!
I did use the Paper Pumpkin embellishments and twine – along with one of the sentiments for all the GOATs in your life!
Finally I used the ‘bat wood’ card to create a Christmas card! I know some of you won’t have need for a whole slew of baseball themed cards – so this is a perfect use for the final pattern.
The star is cut from the new Evergreen shimmer vellum. So simple and elegant.
