Peaceful Moments Window Card with Peaceful Poppies Suite

Today’s tutorial features the suite that is on the front of the upcoming Mini Catalog and was featured at OnStage with all of the decorations and our event backpack. It is simply stunning (and huge!)

Here is my first card with it

This card was one that was in my head the second I saw the Catalog at our CentreStage event. Unfortunately it took a minute to get from my head to paper. You get to see it taken from the rubbish bin in the video – but I opted not to photograph the reject!

You might also want to stock up on the Sparkling Crystal Effects that are currently in the Holiday Catalog! This has been my chosen method recently to adhere things like the sequins – the tutorial will give you a super quick and easy way to get these guys on and quickly stuck for good!!

I wanted the tag that I stamped on the Shimmery White cardstock to have the same feel as the DSP. It was easy to create with the Blends – using them this time exactly the way they are meant to be – some super blending! If you don’t ever blend with the Blends – this little tag is a great place to practice!

I love the bold design of this DSP, it was what I needed to make that card in my head work. That and some color changes!

I hope you enjoy today’s card. I hope to get a couple more tutorials up this week. Unfortunately those Thanksgiving Cleaning Fairies seem to have skipped by my house leaving it all to me before the onslaught of family here on Friday. This is a case where I would MUCH rather be stamping, but this deep cleaning isn’t going to happen all by itself!!
