Who loves a colorful Peony? My grandma had bushes of them at her place, so they remind me of a much simpler time – you know – like the 1980’s, lol.
Here is a beautiful card featuring the new Prized Peony bundle
This bundle is fabulous. Today I am focusing mainly on the stamps and just two of the dies. You will want to come back in a couple of days for the card that uses the flower builder dies!
It’s a lovely stamp set. For this card I chose to go with just the one larger flower, but there are 2 others that you can use to make a full on Peony Bouquet if you choose!
For the background, you may have thought I used one of our new fabulous background papers….
But, NO! I used one of our new fabulous background STAMPS! Lightly inked on vanilla paper this one gives a fun wood texture. It will become a must have on your list!
I mean, look at how that totally changed the look of the plain vanilla cardstock!
But the real star of this card is the Magenta/Flamingo peony. It will require you to use the Blends ‘as intended’ This means you will need to BLEND them, lol. If you have not done that, don’t worry, the video will give you some tips and tricks.
I finished the card off with some of my newly dyed tulle ribbon (click back a few posts and see the steps it takes to make your own!)
