Retro Cottagecore Framed Goose! Stampin’ Up!’s Notes of Spring

Who remembers the geese that were all the rage in the late 80’s and early 90’s? Who decorated in shades of ‘dusty’ colors – pinks and peaches and as the 90’s came in added in the burgundy, navy and ‘hunter’ green? Of course everything old becomes new again…and Stampin’ Up! has hopped on that cottagecore look with some of it’s latest offerings.

Those who lived it will notice it in both colors and imagery. Today’s card uses a pink pattern along with a decorated goose to give you some nostalgic vibes.

To create this fun little goose card I turned to two of my current favorite products – the Square Snippets DSP and the Scalloped Wishes dies.

The paper makes a perfect updated 90s look in both the color and the print (thinking of those flowers on the bedding I registered for in 1990!)

The frame is just the right size to make our goose friend really stand out.
