The focus from the Sale-a-bration catalog today is on the FREE stamp set “Corner Bouquet”
I received it way back in December and had yet to ink it up. It was requested by a couple of Youtube followers, so I moved it to the top of my list for what to start with.
Over the weekend while I was busy posting and finishing up retreat things and cooking a fun feast for the Super Bowl… I sketched out the card in my head. (Does anyone else do that?)
This morning when I pulled it out to make ‘that’ card…..WHOOPS….the set is NOT line art and can not be colored in! At least not in the way I needed to for the project nicely tucked away in my head!
Sheesh.
It was back to the drawing board for a whole new design. I wanted to keep all those fun spring colors. I also wanted to keep the watercolored canvas look.
I pulled out Stampin’ Write markers and my Stamparatus and made this fun spring card instead. Using Word Wishes dies and my (apparently can’t make a card without it) Love Always Foil pulled together some bright and cheery floral cards.
Next on my list is being a little bit better prepared…especially before I go LIVE anywhere this week to show you some projects!
