Today I have two video tutorials for you. One of them is from last week – I posted it when I wasn’t able to add pictures to this website – but that is all fixed now. I knew I had some matching cards coming up – so here are the first of 4 cards I will be showing you in my Share What You Love Window Card series.
This card is a little 4×4 notecard. It couldn’t be any simpler! It is the newer of the video tutorials and I just posted it today.
The goal of the cards in this series is to really show of the LOVELY Designer Series Paper – so instead of any cardstock, I am using the paper itself for the cards.
The Share What You Love DSP is a specialty line. It has several pieces that have shimmer coating (which you can see in the videos) AND it is a heavier weight that the regular DSP line. It makes it a perfect choice for this technique.
This card does include a fun little place on the inside for you to sign your greeting. You could whip up a whole assortment to have on hand or to give someone as a gift.
If you would like to make these adorably simple cards – Here is what you need:

For the first card I did in the series (and can finally post to this beautiful and *mostly* functioning website!) I went full-on Window!
It is more of a specialty card – but so super easy to make!
These cards not only feature the Share What You love Designer Series Paper – but they use the clever little Hostess Set from the Occasions Catalog, “Here Comes the Sun”
everyone who places an order of $75 or more on my website now through April 20th will go into a drawing to WIN a Here Comes the Sun set!
I told you that I would be sneaking some fun things in on my kickoff month to this new site and this is the first one! I know whoever gets the set will enjoy it! Everyone can get it with a $150 purchase as part of hostess benefits. If you place an order over $100 and don’t win and do want the set, let me know – if I get the chance to get extra hostess benefits toward the end of the month, I can see if I can work one in for you to purchase as part of my orders.
This card is also an example of using *coordinating* Blends colors. The colors I use are not the exact colors on the paper, but they are close enough on both cards that they work. Don’t ever feel like you just can’t experiment with what you already have!
This card also uses the new Stitched Rectangles that are in the Occasions Catalog – a must have in my book. Because 90% of our cards are rectangles, this shape was just what we needed to round out the layering shapes.
To see the other items that were used on this card – click on the information under the video on YouTube. I didn’t save the shopping list in a form to post here – but it is up and ready for you there.
Remember the new website will always have my monthly Host Code on the side bar for you now, easy peasy.
