Happy Friday! This was meant to be a Thursday post….but my house was full of little boys yesterday and I decided to go with my motto from the day before and just #rollwithit. Those of us with grown children know the days of littles flashes by in an instant, so I took a day to soak in the flash. Plus at this stage – you can let your house be in total chaos for 1 day knowing it returns to normal the next. Not quite sure how to communicate that to my cats, lol.
So a day late – but still just as adorable, today’s tutorial:
The dies are stamps are from the Cup of Christmas bundle. If you follow me – you know I am a huge fan of looking at our stamps and then IGNORING the ‘main’ image. Once you take away that piece – then see what you can do with it. That is what I have done with this card.
If at first glance you wondered WHERE did that candy cane come from – it’s probably because you didn’t recognize it without it’s cup!
The mini buffalo plaid came from the Tiny Keepsake stamp set. I ensured perfect placement and the ability to get good coverage with the black ink by using my Stamparatus.
I intended to make some tags (but the ideas are shown in the video) and I did want to make some tags (again ideas in the video!) but you know #boys!
This card goes together super quickly and would be one that you could make multiples of if you are still picking your Christmas card design.
It WILL be a November Camp card. This November Camp will be my CHRISTMAS Camp. It’s in Indy on Saturday November 9 at 9:30 am.
