Raise your hand if you have ever purchased a craft item…and then let it sit. For weeks. Months. Whatever….
Lol. I could do that with this lovely Snowglobe bundle (and yikes, I didn’t use the stamp set – only the dies) but it is lovely. It will be one of the projects we do at my camp this week.
See how simple it is in today’s tutorial.
You really must watch the video to see all the snow falling action!
You will notice that both cards are a little different.
I was using scraps from my desk – so the bases are different as is the ribbon.
I think the verdict for camp will be a mish mash of the two. I like the blue glimmer paper and that ribbon – but I like the cinnamon background of the card being larger.
If you think that shaker cards are “too difficult” – I promise – this one is not! The domes just pop right in the die cut.
I layered the ink pad shimmer painted dies on top of each other. They just about touch the top of the dome, giving it a fabulous 3D effect.
You couldn’t get one more thing in there if you tried! I will do one more (completely different) card with the dies…and who knows…I may even whip out the stamp set!
Up next though, I have a fun tutorial for a slim line card and envelope using some of the Designer Series Paper (another camp card) and a sneak peek of another January Mini Catalog set! So many things to stamp and so little time!
I am bringing back for a very LIMITED registration period my 2 most popular online classes from the Holiday Catalog (In the Pines and Love of Leaves) next week. Make sure you are on my email list to get those details.
The upcoming class will feature 4 projects and more tips and tricks on how to use your bundle. If you purchase the kit – you will get TWO stamp sets (the Curvy Celebrations AND the limited edition Curvy Christmas), the dies that work with both sets and the DSP. Purchased as a bundle you will get those 10% off. The class will do 2 cards with the Celebrations set and 2 cards with the Christmas set. The class includes postage to you. The deadline to register is Nov 1 – I will aim to have the class ready to ship to you by November 6th or so (as soon as I have your stamps and dies from Stampin’ Up!). There is a video only option for this class as well. The class will include a template for placing your dies JUST where you need them for the cards. I will email a photo of it to those of you participating in the video class, but it will be included with the kit class.
The upcoming class will feature 2 cards with the Curvy Christmas stamps. We will also make 2 cards from the Curvy Celebrations set.
The Quite Curvy Bundle will be available in the January 2021 Mini Catalog – so this is a sneak peek.
During the preview you will only be able to get it as a bundle. If you want the pieces separately, you can wait and get them in January.
THEN (this is very important!) I don’t want you to miss this part and then be disappointed later when you decide you want the Curvy Christmas only to discover you can’t get it. This is a limited edition stamp set. Available during the promotion (November) or while supplies last (for the paper).
