So Much Texture And Shimmer With This Country Floral Wedding Card!

There is SO much going on in today’s card.  It is so pretty in person.  I really needed a sunny day to capture all the different textures and shimmers….. (How many days until spring?)  But, with the absence of the sun, I took several angles with the help of my studio lights to try to give you a look at how it really sparkles.  I will try to remember on a sunny day to pull it out and photograph it again.

First I started with Shimmer Cardstock and Window Sheet.  Not your normal combination for cards, but in the case I didn’t want to cover up any of the lovely floral pattern from the Embossing folder.

The flowers are watercolored using Shimmer paint and classic ink as the medium.  It will always be one of my favorite mediums.  When I get a few spare minutes I will do a playlist of the videos I have done over the last couple of years with the technique.  Call me addicted.

The Window Sheet makes a beautiful label with the Stitched All Around die.  Have you tried the window sheets for things other than windows?  The possibilities are endless!

The card is perfect for a Wedding, Anniversary, Baptism, Mother’s Day. You can mix and match the colors of the flowers however you choose!

It’s a perfect time to look through your cardstock – are you low on Window Sheet, Shimmery White, Vellum, Glossy?  Sometimes we don’t know until we want to use it and then realize it’s gone!  Same with embossing powder colors!  This white is so pretty set off against the floral pattern of the card.
