My goal for this card was to have as little color as possible….but no matter HOW many times I tried…the color just kept coming. It was like I couldn’t stop my hands : )

Did you know that SU now has TWO whites to choose from? Anyone who has bought paint for your home knows that white comes in 100’s of colors. So it is not shocking to add a new “Willow” white to the basic.

I used both on this card for a white on white effect.

Then, I was JUST going to color the berries….next thing you know – here I was….

That was with watercolor pencils and Stella. It was much more color than I wanted. I also tweaked the pieces that were embossed with the Birch folder.

Swapping to really light colors of ink pads, here is where I landed….

Much more subtle, agree? So very shimmery in person – like frost has touched the card.

The DSP that is part of this suite is FABULOUS, but I had yet to even pop a stamp out of this bundle. Did I mention I got it in early summer?

I wanted a card to really give the stamps and dies a moment to shine!
