If you have not yet checked out the amazing new PARTY BANNER dies…here you can see them used for a fun summer project.

I have used the ‘middle’ sized dies.  These ones will still fit on a card, although they are getting close to being the entire front of a standard card.

In the tutorial you can see the largest die.

You can get just the banners or just the letters – but you save $$ when you bundle them together.  This opens up a world of possibilities as well.

When doing your banners you can create them in countless ways.  I wanted mine to resemble the stars and stripes – so I started with stars and stripes stamps.  Most of us can find those in our stash if we have been stamping for a while, right?

I used our 2 newest blues (Secret Sea and Cloud Cover) with one of our oldest Reds (Cherry Cobbler) for a vintage feel banner.  If your July 4 decor is more bright – try Real Red and Blueberry!

I decorated each banner just a bit different.  The foils and the ribbon to thread it all together are on the Last Chance – a great choice when you are going to use a lot of one item!
