If you stopped by here yesterday or watched yesterday’s tutorial – then you know I used the beautiful Magnolia Lane Suite to create the card. It was easy – with the idea that so many of our hours in the summer are spent outside enjoying the weather with friends and family. We still need cards and we still love to craft – but sometimes we want it to take just a bit less time to create. Right? Yesterday’s card was super fast and no one would even know that it was one we would call a “quickie”
Today we are going to use another component of the Magnolia Lane Suite – the Magnolia Lane Memories and More Pack. I promise you are going to LOVE these. Here is the tutorial. I filmed it immediately following the first Magnolia card. I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what I was going to create. Nothing, lol. Looking back maybe it was not the best plan – but I was pleased with the cards. That should tell you just how easy they are to work with!
See what I mean?
If you are off on a road trip, heading to the airport, to the beach, a cabin – even the campground – you can pack these up with very minimal supplies and over sunrise coffee or during the afternoon thunderstorms get caught up on some of the cards that you will be needing over the next several months.
They are so super simple that if you are on holidays with non-stampers (I hear they exist, lol) you might even be able to convince them to craft with you!!
I literally used no trimmer and only scrap pieces of ribbons. You can bring the Magnolia Suite cards and envelopes and a few pre-cut to card size vanilla, white, or any of the colors found in the Memories and more Pack
Product List
If you click on the Memories and More square above it will take you to my store. Stampin’ Up! has a short video there to show you all of the designs in the kit along with a card they create (I discovered this today while writing the post…it is a fun little video!) I also have the link for the Wood Mount cases that you can keep your open pack of papers and your finished cards in. I also have the uninked Ink Spots. You might want to just ink those in the colors you know you will use and then not have to bring full sized ink pads with you as you travel.
Tomorrow (Thursday) I will be live on my Facebook (Cheri’s Cards) at 1:30pm EST for some more ideas on some Summer Stamping and Taking it on the Road style projects. Don’t miss it! If you comment or share (live or replay) I will be giving away several of the projects that I make!
I will also be letting you know the LAST weekend special for June! And it IS part of the Magnolia Lane Suite!!
