Now, for today’s tutorial!  This is a fun one!!

The dies are from the Birds and Branches bundle – here is what you will find as part of that bundle

Here is the fun stamp set (which I ended up not even using! Yikes!)

The dies as you see do cut out most of the images.  I was in love with the frame, though, and the little die birds – so I went with one of my favorite techniques to color dies and didn’t need the images.

I used ink refills and shimmer paint on Shimmery White cardstock. These cards are so much prettier in person, the camera just can’t capture the sparkle.  You will need to make one yourself to see!

I wanted a nice natural look and on my mock up card the colors were all light.

I did switch to some brighter colors for filming and I do like those results better.  The white shimmer paint tones the color down.

You will want to watch to see some tips on how to layer these so you get a nice window feel with several different ‘depths’ of textures.

You will need both sizes of dimensionals and some glue dots!

So you WILL need to make it, again, hard to see in person!!

Finally, I used the Old World Paper folder – so watch for my tip – I wanted a subtle look not as “old world’ as the folder was designed to give!

I like it – I didn’t want it to detract from my design or tear up the flower frame.

Videos will be available via YouTube and a Facebook Group on a private link so you can assemble your cards.  You will also have booklet to print that have templates you can use for these cards and lots of future projects! On May 15th I will go live via Zoom and the FB group if you have any questions about your cards!
