Nativity and New Year Luminaries – Easy way to add celebration DIY handmade ambiance to your holidays!
Yesterday I shared the video of how to make these simple luminaries using Stampin' Up's Hearts Come Home Dies.Today - I have the same concept - I just switched up the dies. The first uses the Bethlehem Nights die for a lovely little Nativity. There are two dies that have Eastern skylines, but I just used one and cut off the parts that I needed.I mounted the star on the front and the Family on the back - gold side facing front. A fun alternate for these would be for each piece to … [Read more...] about Nativity and New Year Luminaries – Easy way to add celebration DIY handmade ambiance to your holidays!
Christmas and Seasonal Handmade Luminaries – Countdown to Christmas Projects
These have been one of those projects I tucked inside my head the second I saw the incredibly wonderful and versatile House dies last summer. It is one of the Pick your Projects for next week's LAST class for 2017. We spent a week in Iceland last spring and these houses just remind me of the trip and so many of the decorations we saw there. Of course it was the start of spring - but even in late March/early April - Iceland still ......had a Christmas feel to it, lol. In case you never make … [Read more...] about Christmas and Seasonal Handmade Luminaries – Countdown to Christmas Projects

Simple Christmas Decor' – using Big Shot and Stampin' Up! Embellishments
This simple little decoration was one we made at camp this month. The pictures don't do it justice as it shimmers and shines in person and while not big - it is hard to photograph. Part of the charm is it's simplicity.Everything on it is available currently from Stampin' Up! - except for the clothespins. I also used a glue gun - at camp we used Green Glue - for the video I needed it to dry quickly so you could see it. These would be fun to make using whatever dies, papers, … [Read more...] about Simple Christmas Decor' – using Big Shot and Stampin' Up! Embellishments
Blending Whimsy – Creating a Cheerful Retro Look Christmas Card with the Stampin' Blends
It's a busy week in the Stampin' Up! world as so many of us get ready to converge on to Salt Lake City - I have so much to do in the last few hours before we fly out. My husband is making the trip with me for the first time. I have been a demonstrator for nearly 23 years and he has yet to see Utah. In case things get away from me and I don't get anything else on here before I leave - I will be posting during my time there. Gone are the days when Stampin' Up! would have … [Read more...] about Blending Whimsy – Creating a Cheerful Retro Look Christmas Card with the Stampin' Blends
