Taking a break today from my Valentine theme week to show you one of my February camp projects! Let’s say this card is ‘weather based’ For the vast majority of the US we are in the deep freeze today (though the term is relative……I have seen some Facebook posts of newscasts claiming arctic chills in place for Southern states where the temps will be in the 40s F….um, no, lol). You can only claim the chill if being outside today can KILL you, ok? Then I know my Aussie readers – some of you can claim the same – but it’s for 40s C.
Ah, January.
This card should brighten your mood. I went with super cheery colors and a fresh white background. The card is simple….I was so tempted to add my signature white tulle ribbon (right, wouldn’t it be so super cute?!). But I had the conversation in my head and I left it off.
Watch the tutorial to see how easy this builder set is. It goes back to one of the first techniques I ever learned when stamping – masking and then I added more colors with the same technique. Super simple, yet it will give you stunning results and give your stamping project a more art like feel. I can’t wait to play some more with this set!
Now – I know I said this isn’t a Valentine card – BUT if you wanted it to BE – you could always add some hearts on or instead of the flowers – and BAM – there you have it. How about the saying “Stuck on You Valentine!” Another -out of the box way to use what you might have!
