Let’s start with a disclaimer:  I am in NO WAY ready for summer to be over.  Nada.  “Corn Sweat” season (when it’s so muggy you can’t even see out our windows) is coming to a close in Indiana.

This weekend temps will finally no longer be oppressive and in the evenings we will see some 60 degrees.  Everywhere I go people are so happy to see the heat starting to leave.  Not me, lol.  I don’t care for the humidity. BUT I do LOVE the warm weather.  I love working outside in the afternoons with my laptop and enjoying the fresh air.  If it gets a bit warm, I hop in for a quick swim and then when I return to my laptop it’s all the perfect temperature.  I love pool drinks, fresh herbs and all the tomatoes we have coming in.

I also realize in craft world we need to work ahead.  I especially know that’s true when I show you things you might want to recreate yourself.  So – I created this warm, wooly, fall card inside and did all the rest of the things poolside.

Fall used to be my favorite season…summer replaced it at some point.  I didn’t even realize it was happening!

While this card has a fun fall feel, it can easily be adapted to any season with a switch of the DSP and colors of your die cuts.
