This is the last full month that SU! is using Host Codes as they transition to customer rewards in April (dates for the US market). Stay tuned here over the next few weeks for how my rewards to you will change as well! I will be switching from a thank you program to a loyalty program.
Over the next few weeks I will have a mix of current catalog and Online Exclusive products, sneak peeks and then Last Chance items…all leading to the early May release of the 25/26 Annual Catalog!
If you are my customer and have spent $50+ in merchandise with me since January 2025 you will automatically have your copy arriving to you soon. If that is not you and you would like a copy, message me for details.
Today’s post will catch you up on the last three videos I have posted – first let’s get to the overall unboxing!
Let me know your favorites and if possible I will move them to my ‘in progress’ list!
Next up – a few unboxing items from OnStage and the first of my In Color Comparisons are included here:
As with all In Color introductions this one had a huge numbers of questions and asks for me to compare with other colors.
Many old colors I no longer have.
First – when I began with Stampin Up (30 years ago), the thought of ever RECORDING myself for anyone to watch was unheard of. And, frankly, scary enough then that I may have never become a demonstrator.
That was 1995, it was 10 years later when I got my first “digital” camera. That card held 10 photos. We were still years away from taking/storing/sending/posting photos of colors and cards.
While I did this full time in the start once my daughter was in school and golf and her schedule consumed our evenings, I no longer viewed Stampin Up as a ‘job’ but a very part time filler. I got rid of everything once it retired.
Plus, I most certainly didn’t buy as much as I do now! (I have had many ask why I didn’t keep all the colors!) Life was very different as you recall back then.
Even now I don’t keep things, most of my paper gets donated to elementary art teachers.
That said, I did find a few of the old colors and did pull them out for a round TWO of color comparisons…and you can see some pretty old scrapbook pages, since that is where I found the paper!
Let me tell you Secret Sea is hard to photograph AND to edit. I can tell it will be fun to work with and difficult to show you the finished projects of!
You can find the photos of the color comparisons below.
Card Club should be out this month BEFORE the 26th. Along with April Card Club all members will get a sample size of all In Color cardstock with club. Club Members will also get $10 off the 25/26 Try It Class (you must be a current club member in April for registration and in May for delivery as the two will mail together). Updated Club benefits will also go out with April Club and post to all in an email by the end of this month.
New Stampin Rewards from SU! go in effect mid-April as will my new rewards program! I am excited to share that with you!! I should have Try It Class Registration and New Rewards ready to share sometime next week.
Early April I will share May, June Club selections and June’s free online class.
Timid Tiger
Strawberry Slush (returning color)
Secret Sea
Darling Duckling
Cloud Cover
I will also be sending the new Annual Catalog to those of you who have purchase $50+ with me since January of this year.
For today’s tutorial, we will end with a cute card, but I wanted to walk you through HOW to use the All Zipped up dies. They appear to be a brain scratcher…and they were. But once you figure them out, they are super easy.
I wanted to take the “figuring out” step out for you!
Once you understand how the zipper pieces go together, it’s super simple!
The options are endless for what you can do with this bundle. AND you can make all kinds of designs without the unzipped part of the zipper or a shirt/cardigan/jacket that doesn’t even have a zipper.
Here are some designs using the set made by my friends.
This one by Tonya is much more dressy and feminine than my casual sweatshirt. Love the addition of the pearls!
Here Susan didn’t even make any kind of a shirt or jacket. She simply used the stamps to create a fun fold birthday card!
One more look at my original sweatshirts.
I hope you give this fun bundle a try. There will a few special people in your life that you know it will be a delight to create a card for them with it!
Pick it up this week while I have my OnStage special ongoing!
