So – Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Those of us who make our cards and decorations are just in the recovery mode from Christmas when WHAM another card holiday hits! Who hasn’t even had time to think about getting supplies for another big project holiday? Well – that’s ok! Today’s tutorial focuses on making cards when you didn’t even order a dedicated Valentine suite of stamps and papers!

Valentine’s is one of those rare occasions when you can take all your scraps and pieces of lace, pinks, reds, rhinestones, diamonds, flowers, purples – whatever – and smuck them all on a card together and magic will happen!

The only thing on today’s cards that is part of a Valentine suite on the Gems. The great thing about them is they will be able to be used year round – they are lovely!

The Buffalo Check backgrounds and scrap black were left from the mountain cards I did a few days ago. The Poppies Elements are preprinted and you just need to add some light color (in whatever method you choose!)
