So excited for today’s post – because after I am done with it – then I will start putting the things together for the Winter Woods Artistry Inspired Class! Oh, this stamp set and bundle – they are JUST SO MUCH FUN! If you do not have them yet and have been waiting to sign up for the class to get them…..Get ready, because, seriously this class is going to be such fun!
Today’s card is not part of the class – but will be one of the many things you can do with the stamps and dies once you have them after the class! Watch the video to see how incredibly simple this fun technique is.
It uses glossy cardstock to give us time to work with the ink to create the “northern lights” effect on my card. It is my vision of what they might look like in Iceland. Yes, we have been. But, no, we did not see them. You have to get up in the middle of the night to witness it. We were tired from all of the days activities and it was so cold (it IS Iceland, lol) so we never saw them – but in my head this is what they may have looked like! The glossy white cardstock, coupled with the Softly Falling folder add just the right winter/Iceland effect.
I used the sentiment included in the bundle – but you can easily switch it up to make it a birthday card. Leave off the ribbon and maybe subdue the purples a bit more and it would work for even a sympathy card. Check back on MONDAY to register for this great class. It is an ONLINE class and it is FREE! You just need to purchase the bundle and 2 stamp pads – that’s it! You will get the supplies to make three projects and the links to the private video or facebook group (your choice) to take the class along with me. The first class registration will be from October 15- October 18th and that class will post out to you approx Nov 2nd. If you already own the stamps, there will be an option for a supplies only class.
