Today’s tutorial continues with the series using the Yummy Christmas gingerbread house set – but no house in site!
Here you go:
This time I just chose the trees for a simpler Christmas card – still keeping with an overall retro feel card.
And I used a liberal piece of the fabulous Mercury Acetate – because…..BEAUTIFUL!!
It’s hard to get a good picture of the depth and textures in the card – it is one you do need to see ‘in real life’ – so come to camp in October! It is one of our projects!!
I have a fun little collection of vintage pink Christmas trees – so every year I try to make at least one card that features pink trees. This time I used the Flamingo blends. One of the cards uses the dark and one the light. In the video you can see the comparison – I give some tips for you when you are creating a bulk number of cards. My personal favorite look after the two colors was the light Flamingo and the dark Seaside. Those two don’t make an appearance on the same card in these pictures…..
But here you can see the two! I can’t believe we are to the end of September!!
Check back tomorrow for a FUN October giveaway that I will have going on, my October Thank You gift – the kick off of my free online classes and more!!
